GREAT INTEREST FROM GERMANS IN THE PROJECT

MEDIA COVERAGE

German media have shown great interest in this project and the work being done. There has been considerable coverage, and when the first interview with Einar Magnús (the screenwriter) was published in the newspaper Nordsee Zeitung, he took the opportunity to call for information from the descendants of the shipwreck survivors. This yielded excellent results, bringing forth previously unknown and invaluable data and information. A total of two articles have been published in Nordsee Zeitung, which can be seen here:

TELEVISION COVERAGE

A television crew from Radio Bremen followed Einar for two days in Germany while he was working, and their coverage can be seen below. A radio show is planned for November on Radio Bremen. There is ongoing work on developing the idea of Radio Bremen coming to Iceland next year to film a documentary about this project—without revealing the script’s plot and disclosures being worked on.
